Duties & Responsibilities
- Acknowledge the customer with a smile and ensure they feel valued and important.
- Handle all customer questions and concerns effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness around the tills and ensure they are operational.
- Count the float at the beginning of shifts, ensure sufficient change, and check that the printer has enough paper and ribbon.
- Display stock correctly in the resale area and restock fridges and shelves daily.
- Keep the front of house area clean.
- Count money in cash drawers at the start of shifts to verify amounts and sufficient change.
- Complete daily cash-up and related paperwork accurately and according to standards.
- Issue receipts and return the correct change; account for discrepancies, with shortfalls deducted as per agreement.
- Assist in the smooth operation of the front of house.
- Support both front and back of house in running orders.
- Assist with cleaning and other tasks when the store is quiet.
- Clean the counter and prepare a daily sales analysis.
- Coordinate with the Admin Assistant/Manager for end-of-shift cash-up procedures.

Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12/Matric.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
