Cashbook Clerk position available in Roodepoort.

A growing logistics-focused company based in Roodepoort is looking for a reliable and detail-driven Cashbook Clerk to manage daily banking and payment allocation tasks. This is an office bound role ideal for someone who has experience with international payments via Investec and is confident working with FNB Business Online.

You’ll be responsible for accurate capturing, reconciliation, and allocation of all incoming and outgoing payments, supporting both local and international finance operations. Experience using Xero, Notion, and Slack is essential.

Salary: R12 000 – R15000 CTC per month.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a cashbook or finance admin role
  • Experience with Investec international payments and FNB banking systems – Beneficial
  • Proficient in Excel, Xero, Notion, and Slack
  • Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy
  • Able to work independently in a hybrid environment
  • Based in or able to commute to Roodepoort, Johannesburg

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily capturing and reconciliation of bank transactions
  • Process and allocate local and international payments
  • Manage and reconcile multiple bank accounts (including FNB and Investec)
  • Ensure accurate allocation of receipts and payments against invoices
  • Investigate and resolve payment or allocation discrepancies
  • Provide support to the finance team with ad hoc banking and admin tasks
  • Maintain accurate cashbook records and assist with monthly reporting
  • Allocate customer and supplier payment
