Job summary

SBV South Africa in Louis Trichardt is seeking a temporary Cash Processor to handle deposits and process cash on our secure systems. The role requires basic cashier/teller experience and formal SBV Cash Processor training.

You will balance deposits, prepare cash, sort notes, and ensure compliance with SOPs, SLAs, and bank policies while reporting any anomalies to the Team Controller and maintaining accurate production sheets. This on-site position suits candidates with Grade 12 Maths Literacy.

Qualifications

• 6 months cashier/teller experience.
• Grade 12 with Maths Literacy.
• Successfully completed SBV Cash Processor training.

Responsibilities

• Receive deposits and update systems per SOPs.
• Prepare cash on the applicable system and inspect bags for damage.
• Sort, balance and report discrepancies daily to Team Controller.
• Process bank/ATM deposits and reconcile end of day balances.
• Maintain accurate records and sign off downtime/register as required.
