Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty is seeking an experienced Cash Office Manager/Supervisor to oversee daily cash management operations, ensuring accuracy, security and integrity of cash handling, reconciliations and banking activities. You will supervise and develop the cash office team, maintain strong financial controls, safeguard assets and drive efficient cash office operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a high-volume environment with a focus on accuracy, compliance and process

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is essential.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or related field preferred.
• 4-5 years’ experience in a cash management or cash office environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience with high-volume cash transactions and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cash Officers and Cash Office Administrators.
• Oversee daily cash handling, balancing and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and cash handling controls.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company funds.
• Review and sign off bank reconciliations and reports.
• Manage supplier payments and online banking activities.
• Provide management with cash flow insights and risk reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in cash office efficiency and controls.
