Job summary

Izicash is seeking a responsible Cit/Driver to be the custodian of IZI assets during operations, performing Cash in Transit services on dedicated schedules while strictly adhering to company policies and procedures. You will ensure vehicle readiness, comply with safety standards, and maintain robust security practices at all times.

The role emphasizes vigilance, incident reporting, and route discipline. Suitable applicants must hold PDP, PSIRA Grade C, CIT certification, and firearm competency

Qualifications

• PDP license valid and up-to-date.
• PSIRA Grade C Certification required.
• Cash In Transit Certification required.
• SAPS Firearm Competency for Handgun Certificate required.
• Statement of Results from PFTC or SASSETA for Firearm used for business purposes.
• No credit record; no criminal record; not a director of any company.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Equipment Inspections: perform mechanical roadworthiness checks before/after each shift and escalate defects.
• Incident & Safety Reporting: promptly report accidents or suspicious activities to Control Room and authorities.
• Security & Compliance: follow security principles, wear protective gear, and obtain authorization before exiting the vehicle.
• Safe Driving: operate vehicles per Road Traffic Act and company safety standards.
• Route & Schedule Management: execute trips per route optimization and report delays to Control Room.
• Operational Logistics: ensure radios, scanners, keys function and vehicle is refuelled and cleaned for next shift.
