A leading financial advisory firm is seeking a Draftworx or/and CaseWare Financial Statement Consultant to assist clients with their financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and experience with Draftworx, focusing on quality assurance, deadlines, and client relationship management. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite among other competencies.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree/diploma in accounting.
• Has used CaseWare for a minimum of 3 years, completed SAIPA / SAICA articles.

Responsibilities

• Draft and balance financial statements, including consolidated annual statements.
• Prepare financial statements for client submission to auditors.
• Capture time and expenses, ensure timely reporting.

Introduction

AFA requires the expertise of a Draftworx or/and CaseWare Financial Statement Consultant to assist our clients in drafting their financial statements for submission to their auditors.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Experience

• Drafted annual financial statements using Draftworx and CaseWare Working Papers in the last 12 months.
  
  

Desired Experience

• Has used CaseWare for a minimum of 3 years and within the last year 2 years. Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles
  
  

Reporting Structure

• Reporting to the Financial Statement Automation Manager
  
  

• Financial Statements Preparation
• Import Trial Balances’ into Draftworx or CaseWare
• Map / Link Trial Balances’
• Create relevant lead schedules
• Insert new content (tables, text, sub-sections)
• Creating disclosure packs for client to input information
• Balance – Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Cash Flows
• Draft and Balance Consolidated Annual Financial Statements
• CaseWare - Builder mode - basic
• CaseWare - Basic Design Mode - Basic
• Draftworx – Advanced mode
• Reporting and project management
• Capture time and expenses timeously
• Weekly status updates to all stakeholders
