We provide services throughout the NT, including service centres in Darwin, Palmerston, Malak, Tiwi Islands, Daly River, Wadeye, Jabiru, Maningrida, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Santa Teresa, Titjikala, Finke and APY lands.About the Role and ProgramCCNT provides Financial Counselling, Capability and Resilience hubs throughout the NT.
Our FWC Case Workers and Financial Counsellors collaborate with agencies and participants to contribute to improved outcomes for vulnerable people, families, and communities.
This is achieved by guiding participants through times of financial crisis, providing financial literacy education and strategies to improve resilience and independence in this space, and recognising early indicators of hardship to prevent participant homelessness.What we are looking forRelevant qualifications in Financial Planning, Social Work or Welfare and / or equivalent experience in a similar role.Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and case note writing.Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.Prior experience working and living in remote communities.Demonstrated ability to network effectively with other agencies to support a community approach to wellbeing.How to ApplyFor a full role description including key selection criteria, please visit our careers website.
