Job Summary

Our Engineering team is dedicated to accommodating guest requests from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry work including but not limited to: furniture repair, levelling furniture, refinishing projects - building shelves, desks, platforms, hanging and removing doors.
• Repair any broken items that are made of timber or timber products such as luggage racks, furniture, picture frames, desks, chairs, mirrors, etc.
• Install, maintain and repair locks, ironmongery, fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel.
• Repair and maintain the Banquet partition door system.
• Install and repair mirrors, artwork and glazing.
• Install and repair wall tiles and floor tiling.
• Repair and maintain the wooden floors in the hotel.
• Complete all assigned work in a safe and complete fashion.
• Use all safety precautions at all times when using tools, chemicals, ladders, or other potentially dangerous equipment or supplies.
• Complete all assigned projects in a timely fashion.
• Carry out repairs to work orders or room inspection reports submitted by departments.
• Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
• Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.
• Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other employees.
• Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
