Main purpose of Position:

To develop and manage the execution of the IT Software and Hardware asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines for the organisation. To provide input into the development of and manage the execution of the IT strategy. Lead a team of IT asset professionals in the execution of IT Asset activities. Define and monitor information system asset controls and resources to protect the organisation from financial and reputational damage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, Implementation, and Maintenance of Strategy

• Develop and manage the execution of IT asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Contribute to IT strategy development and execution.
• Formulate processes for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment.
• Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle using appropriate tools.
• Develop training for staff on IT asset management.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors.
• Consolidate and execute the IT asset management program aligned with strategic objectives.
• Implement risk-based frameworks for IT asset management.
