Main purpose of Position:
To develop and manage the execution of the IT Software and Hardware asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines for the organisation. To provide input into the development of and manage the execution of the IT strategy. Lead a team of IT asset professionals in the execution of IT Asset activities. Define and monitor information system asset controls and resources to protect the organisation from financial and reputational damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Implementation, and Maintenance of Strategy
- Develop and manage the execution of IT asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Contribute to IT strategy development and execution.
- Formulate processes for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment.
- Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle using appropriate tools.
- Develop training for staff on IT asset management.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors.
- Consolidate and execute the IT asset management program aligned with strategic objectives.
- Implement risk-based frameworks for IT asset management.
- Monitor and ensure achievement of IT Asset initiatives.

- Maintain compliance with software vendors and internal policies.

Minimum Requirements:
Relevant National Diploma in IT, Financial Information Systems, or Public Administration. 7 years’ experience in IT Asset Management, including 2 years in SAP, managing people, and in a Software and Hardware Asset Specialist role.
Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of standards, IT systems, and infrastructure.
- Understanding of broadcasting environment equipment and facilities.
- Knowledge of company policies, SAP modules, and technological developments.
