Position Overview :

As a careworker at Care4U you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients. You will work closely with our clients to assist them with their daily activities and ensure their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Provide personal care to clients including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Assist with mobility and transfers.
3. Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
4. Monitor and record vital signs.
5. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
6. Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities with clients.
7. Keep accurate and detailed records of care provided.
8. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
9. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
10. Attend training and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.
3. CNA or HHA certification is a plus.
4. Compassionate and patient nature.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
7. Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting and transferring clients.
8. Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.

Working Conditions :

This is a full-time permanent position. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evening shifts as needed. The careworker may also be required to work on-call shifts. The work environment may include client homes, healthcare facilities, and community settings.
