NHS Highland is seeking an experienced Care Home Manager for the Ach-an-Eas care home. This full-time, permanent role involves providing strong leadership, management, and excellent communication within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality care for residents and maintain compliance with care standards.
Ach-an-Eas care home is run and managed by NHS Highland. It has the capacity to provide care for a maximum of 17 adults over 65, with 4 intermediate care beds and 2 respite beds. The building was formerly a large, family house, now adapted and extended for its current use. Accommodation is on two floors with lift access. The home is situated in large, pleasant grounds, convenient to the city centre. It is comfortably appointed and well maintained, both indoors and outdoors, with walkways and ramps for wheelchair access. All bedrooms are single occupancy with en-suite facilities. The most recent Care Inspectorate report was good, highlighting staff provide kind and respectful care and develop meaningful relationships with residents.
We are seeking an experienced Care Home Manager for this full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, management, and coaching skills. Excellent communication skills, empathy, team engagement, and the ability to work effectively with families and residents are essential.
