Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated careworker to join our team. As a careworker at Care4U, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to our clients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers.
  • Administer medication as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Attend training to enhance skills.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred.
  • CNA or HHA certification is a plus.
  • Patience and compassion.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina for lifting and transfers.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts. The work environment includes client homes, healthcare facilities, and community settings.
