Qualifications

  • Unrestricted APN or PA license in Colorado (DORA).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

This position is based in Glenwood Springs, CO, with a competitive pay range and additional benefits including signing bonus, paid relocation, and full benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, collaborative care to adult patients under medical staff supervision in accordance with treatment plans, standards of care, and ethics.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, promoting the health potential of the whole person.
  • Delegate and direct staff appropriately, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, outpatient clinic duties, inpatient rounding, and consults.
  • Conduct stress testing (echo, exercise, nuclear, dobutamine), supervise tilt table testing, and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as NP or PA in a related field.
  • Master's degree in nursing or completion of PA program from an accredited institution.
  • Unrestricted APN or PA license in Colorado (DORA).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, with cards in hand before start date.
Skills & Ideal Candidate
  • Strong cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in high-volume cardiology outpatient clinics and performing heart procedures is preferred.
