Job summary

JVR Software seeks a dedicated educator in Gauteng to deliver CAPS-aligned Natural Science, Technology and Mathematics for Grades 4–6, establishing solid foundations for learners’ high school journey.

Requires a teaching qualification (B.Ed. or degree with PGCE), SACE registration, and 2–3 years of Intermediate Phase experience. Proficient in English with strong planning and classroom management.

Qualifications

CAPS curriculum knowledge and commitment to CAPS-based teaching.
SACE registration is required.
2–3 years of teaching experience in the Intermediate Phase.

Responsibilities

Deliver CAPS-aligned Natural Science and Technology and Mathematics lessons to Grade 4–6 learners, building foundations for high school.
Plan, prepare and present lessons in line with CAPS for Natural Science, Technology and Mathematics.
Use practical experiments, projects and hands-on activities to make concepts accessible.
Assess learners regularly (formal and informal), mark accurately and keep records.
Identify learners needing additional support and provide intervention.
Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, positive learning environment.
Communicate learner progress to parents and attend meetings and school events.
Contribute to extra-mural activities as required.
