Capex Management Accountant (Fourways, Johannesburg)

We are seeking a skilled Capex Management Accountant to support the Projects Executive in a dynamic construction and project capex management environment. This role is integral to ensuring that all project and operational capital expenditure is accurately recorded, properly authorised, and tightly controlled across the full project lifecycle. It requires a strong understanding of supplier and contractor management, budget monitoring, fixed asset accounting, and financial governance within a construction setting. You will play a key role in safeguarding financial integrity by maintaining rigorous controls over payments, assets, and project costs, while supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, reconciliations, and compliance oversight.

The ideal candidate will hold a BCom Honours Accounting Degree, with a CIMA qualification (ACMA/GCMA) being advantageous. You must have at least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years within the construction industry. Strong experience with accounting systems, process automation, and system improvements will be highly beneficial. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional attention to detail, strong reconciliations experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects and operational demands in a dynamic construction environment.
