Quorum Property Group is seeking a Town Planner to manage land-use applications and guide development proposals in Cape Town. You will assess zoning and planning compliance, prepare reports, and provide input to plans and designs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in urban planning, 2+ years of Cape Town planning experience, and SACPLAN registration or eligibility. Strong engagement with stakeholders and attention to detail are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as Town/Regional Planner in Cape Town.
• Registered or eligible for SACPLAN Professional Planner.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and process land-use and development applications (rezoning, subdivision, consolidation, consent use, departure / variances etc.).
• Prepare professional planning reports, motivations, and recommendations for municipal approvals.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for proposed developments.
• Provide planning input into architectural and engineering designs.
• Liaise with municipal officials, developers, consultants, communities, and other stakeholders.
• Attend and present at public participation meetings, planning tribunals, and internal review sessions.
