Western Cape Government is seeking Town and Regional Planners (Production level) in Cape Town to support municipal human settlement planning for a 12-month period. Two positions available, contract role, reference DOI 77/2026, salary level OSD.

Candidates must hold a B-Degree in Urban/Town and Regional Planning, be SACPLAN-registered on appointment, have at least three years of post-qualification experience, and possess a valid Code B driving licence.

Qualifications

• B-Degree in Urban/Town and Regional Planning; SACPLAN registration on appointment.
• Three years post-qualification Town and Regional Planning experience.
• Valid Code B driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Influence forward planning through the IDP and sectoral plans.
• Render technical support in Project Planning and Packaging.
• Undertake transversal planning.
• Knowledge Management and Record keeping.
