Job summary

Growth Lending Limited in Cape Town is seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–5 years post-qualification investment analysis or corporate finance experience to support our deal execution team from opportunity through credit approval.

You will conduct deep-dive financial analysis, craft balanced investment papers, and manage multiple deals across UK and US markets alongside SA experts, focusing on SME lending and growth financing.

Qualifications

• CA qualification is required.
• 3–5 years post-qualification experience in investment analysis or corporate finance, including SME cash-flow lending.
• Strong financial analysis, advanced Excel, modelling, cash-flow forecasting, with proven investment paper quality.
• Passion for early-stage SMEs and high-growth businesses.
• Eligible to work in South Africa; reside in Cape Town.
• UK market experience is a plus; strong communication of analyses to committees.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive financial analysis of potential portfolio companies.
• Prepare thorough investment and credit papers with clear conclusions.
• Manage multiple deals across sectors in UK and US markets.
• Act as a filter for sales teams to evaluate risks and opportunities.
