Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to Group Manager: Network Strategy Performance & Client Services, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Identify saturation of sub-systems through modelling and provide capacity outlook (up to 5 years).
- Provide input into the permission (5 year business plan to economic regulator) application.
- Ensure availability of relevant market related information which will have an impact on capacity and demand.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises on other leading international airports in order to identify industry practices that may be implemented within our airports to improve on efficiencies and customer service.
- Identify and recommend areas of improvement through benchmarking, analytical studies, research, establish best practice.
- Provide technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
- Plan, manage and execute projects within time frame, quality and cost
- Provide input into the planning and contribute to the execution of projects
- Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance
- Managing the company's risk exposure through identifying risk to minimise company's liability
- Provide input to the financial/forecast process.
Technical Skills And Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
- A bachelor’s degree NQF Level 7 in Economics/Statistics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent is essential.
- 2 years operational experience in Engineering/Statistics/Economics is essential.
- Ms Office Advanced
- Business Intelligence Software Intermediate
- Code B Motor vehicle licence
