Job Description

In this role, you will lead the Capability and Development Portfolio for the Manufacturing Plant, including all support functions. Manage and coordinate all training needs identified, planned, and ad hoc. Manage learner programs.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate Training Needs Analysis with departmental leaders.
  2. Implement, coordinate, and execute plant training plans.
  3. Manage training financial budgets.
  4. Liaise with external training providers to deliver training needs.
  5. Coordinate legislative training for employees.
  6. Design and maintain skills matrices for all employees.
  7. Ensure system compliance and skills development uploads.
  8. Develop and maintain training documentation.
  9. Support the design of standard operating procedures.
  10. Coordinate competency declaration.
  11. Facilitate courses within skills set scope.
  12. Follow up, evaluate, and provide feedback on training.
  13. Support plant employee external bursary applications.
  14. Support operational team with succession planning.
  15. Participate in ISO and compliance audits.
  16. Provide information for WSP, ATR, BBBEE, and EE submissions.
  17. Manage talent and skills learner programs.
  18. Support all internal and external audits.
