Job description

Assisting the Valuations department, you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of self-management and self-motivation and be able to work under pressure within a team.

Position Info:
  1. Inspect, measure, and collect building plans, zoning certificates, site diagrams, windings, and title deeds to perform valuations under supervision.
  2. Conduct market research including rentals, land sales, capitalization rates, and discount rates, developing a sound knowledge of the South African retail, commercial, and industrial property markets.
  3. Collate, draft, and prepare valuation reports in the required formats.
  4. Maintain orderly electronic records of research and working documents.
  5. Adhere to confidentiality requirements as specified in client briefs and company policies.
  6. Understand and become proficient in all technology used in valuation processes, with proper training.
Qualifications:
  1. A degree in Real Estate or Property Studies.
  2. Registration with the SACPVP as a Candidate Valuer is advantageous; the organization will facilitate registration if not already registered.
