Job description

Working hours are expected to be: 9AM - 6PM UK time.

11AM - 8PM SA time in Winter, 10AM - 7PM SA time in Summer.

Shorter days during some of August.

Salary: Base: 20,000 - 30,000 Rand per month, based on experience and performance.

Various sales incentives run throughout the year, allowing you to earn up to an additional 50,000 Rand annually.

Who we are looking for:
  • Someone passionate and motivated, who enjoys working in a close-knit team
  • A proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Confident in developing outbound pipelines and handling objections

  • Strong bias to action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with Headteachers and school leaders
  • Care and empathy for the education sector and its challenges
What you'll be doing:
  • Calling candidates (teachers, teaching assistants, and others) to engage with them on the Zen Educate platform and help them find work in UK schools quickly
  • Following up on inbound and outbound leads, driving urgency to find work through Zen Educate, and ensuring all documentation is compliant
  • Monitoring job boards to attract high-quality candidates before traditional recruitment agencies do
  • Interacting with candidates in a friendly, helpful manner to maintain positive relationships and provide a great candidate experience
  • Increasing the number of talented candidates on our platform and matching their skills to school requirements
  • Collaborating with sales and technology teams to improve efficiency and value delivery
Experience & Qualifications Required:
  • At least 2 years of phone sales or recruitment experience
  • Experience in or with the UK education sector is helpful but not essential
