Job Description

• Be site-based for 2 years in Potchefstroom, North West, with travel to other project sites.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery.
• Support the Project Lead in managing the commission.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional project team.
• Ensure contracts for services under your control are in place with clients and sub-consultants, aligned with group policy.
• Help establish success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
• Participate in project planning, including advising on the production of detailed project plans.
• Advise on procurement of resources for design and construction.
• Monitor and advise on project finances and budgets.
• Assist in managing project information flow between the team and the client through meetings and written communications.
• Ensure formal project progress reports and other documentation are produced.
• Develop appropriate contractor interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a relevant discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• Registered as a CPM Candidate with SACPCMP.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience working on large-scale, mission-critical construction projects.
• Experience in the Real Estate, Retail, Commercial, Energy, and Mining sectors.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Technical ability to manage complex, multiple projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for delivering value to clients.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office skills is essential.
• Own transport required.
