Job summary

PJD Law Firm in Gauteng seeks a Candidate Attorney for 2027–2029. You will support senior attorneys with drafting correspondence, court and corporate documents, and interact with clients to progress matters.

You will rotate across departments for broader exposure, attend court appearances, and contribute to articles and blogs. The program offers on‑the‑job training, access to AI tools, and benefits including travel reimbursement and a company car.

Qualifications

• South African citizenship required.
• LLB degree completed.
• Proximity to office shall be considered.
• SASETTA funding would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting correspondence, court- and corporate- documents.
• Travel to and from clients, sheriff, courts, etc.
• Run own minor matters.
• Court, Commission, & Tribunal appearances.
• Billing and collections on own matters.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, opponents.
• Produce articles and blogs.
• Candidates will rotate between departments/firms for more experience and exposure.
