Strong interest in employment law and commercial law (prior coursework or internships in these areas advantageous)
Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and provide case law analysis in employment and commercial law matters
Draft and review employment contracts, policies, disciplinary codes, and commercial agreements such as service agreements, shareholder agreements, and sale of business agreements
Assist in dispute resolution, including preparing documentation for CCMA, Labour Court, and contractual disputes
Engage in client consultations, attend court proceedings, and liaise with counsel where necessary
Draft legal opinions, pleadings, and correspondence for litigation and advisory work
Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory developments in employment and commercial law
Support attorneys in contract negotiations and due diligence processes
