Job summary

Boogertman + Partners Architects is seeking a Candidate Architect for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Pretoria/Waterfall, commencing July 2025 with ASAP start. The role includes producing sketch illustrations, assisting with graphic design and 3D visualization, and coordinating council submission documentation for SDP and Building Plans.

Ideal candidates hold a Master in Architecture and have at least 2 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and strong communication and design

Qualifications

• Master in Architecture (M.Arch/M.Tech) required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with 3D visualization tools (Twin Motion/Lumion).

Key Responsibilities to include:

• To produce sketch illustrations depicting client brief accurately
• To assist with graphic design work for presentation purposes
• To assist with 3D visualisation of project proposals
• To produce and co-ordinate council submission documentation, both SDP and Building Plans
• Produce working drawings, co-ordinated with other disciplines

Minimum Criteria and Requirements of Applicants:

• Master in Architecture (M.Arch/M.Tech)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Proficient in AutoCad
• Proficient in Revit
• Complete B+P Revit Assessment with minimum 80% score
• Proficient in Twin Motion and/ or Lumion
• Ability to produce sketch proposals
• Intermediate knowledge of the Adobe Master Suite for graphic design purposes
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D visualisation software for presentation purposes
• Must have a passion for design
• A high standard of communication skills and attention to detail required
• A commitment to providing excellent client service through efficiency and the quality in production of work
• Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment.
• Ability to positively contribute to design discussions
• Sufficiently experienced to resolve problems and to make decisions when required
