Job description

Our client is seeking a vibrant and experienced Campus Head to join their institution.

Requirement :

  • 3-year qualification in Business or Hospitality Management / Sales & Marketing.
  • Post-Graduate in Hospitality Management advantageous.
  • At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in branch management activities.

Job Summary :

To ensure the professional general management and excellent performance of the business in terms of its facilities, staff, growth of sales, overall finances, and student service delivery.

Responsibilities :

  1. Implement the national sales strategy and achieve Campus sales targets for CCS.
  2. Coordinate and manage the implementation of the Schools Marketing & Sales Strategy for the Campus to receive inquiries.
  3. Coordinate and manage the inquiry management system in conjunction with the sales team.
  4. Coordinate and manage various events at the campus to generate exposure and inquiries.
  5. Ensure that the sales process is being followed at the Campus.
  6. Maintain the enrollment database spreadsheet process.
  7. Manage sales in terms of converting inquiries to sales.
  8. Accept and receipt Application Fees and Course Deposits.
  9. Manage, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.
  10. Identify opportunities for extra revenue / new business generation.
  11. Effectively manage cost control of Campus financials, as well as debtors management – to ensure profitability and sustainability.

Maintain financial policies and processes within the campus.

  1. Manage the Campus as profitably as possible.
  2. Manage the financial targets for the Campus.
  3. Report on any variances from the financials on a monthly basis.
  4. Monthly income and expenditure management.
  5. Budget control.
  6. Petty cash control and banking as per process.
  7. Credit card control.
  8. Manage all Campus costs.
  9. Ensure effective debtors management and bad debt collection.

Order ingredients according to budget allocation.

  1. Asset management and control.
  2. Manage the System Administration and facilities in and around the campus.
  3. Ensure that facilities are neat and all areas maintained and in a workable condition according to Health and Safety Regulations.
  4. Meet and negotiate with external suppliers and industry partners.
  5. Comply with accrediting bodies and maintain a high standard of quality and excellence.

Quality control with lesson plans and evaluations.

  1. Adhere to the Academic Calendar and study schedules as provided by the Academic Department.
  2. Ensure that all POEs and POAs are updated as per schedules in accordance with the relevant guide.
  3. Manage and monitor all audits.
  4. Evaluate lecturers to improve the quality of education rendered.
  5. Manage and monitor Learner Master Spreadsheets.
  6. Ensure Campus staff, students, and equipment comply with Health and Safety regulations.
  7. Manage and monitor the industry placement handbook for industry placements.
  8. Comply with monthly stock control (equipment and ingredients) procedures.
  9. Ensure that all cancellation processes are being followed to minimize the risk to the company.
  10. Manage the performance of Campus staff.

Review and update staff’s goal setting on a regular basis.

  1. Conduct performance coaching monthly.
  2. Identify training needs and address them.
  3. Monitor the performance of the staff against goal setting.
  4. Ensure that a working environment is created that promotes high levels of performance and addresses under-performance.
  5. Support the Company / Campus Social Responsibility initiatives.

Ensure Campus (staff and students) participate in community projects and CSI initiatives and others.

  1. Implement Customer Relationship Management Strategy at the campus.
  2. Drive an atmosphere of a customer-centric environment at the campus with staff, students, parents, industry, and suppliers.
  3. Receive customer feedback through various interactions (e.g., group student discussions, parent meetings, industry visits).
  4. Act quickly and promptly to any student complaints.
  5. Create an active student life experience for students on campus.
