The ideal candidates will work in tandem to deliver a world-class safari and guest experience, combining warm hospitality, immersive guiding, and great food. Both parties will share managerial responsibilities.

Candidate requirements:

Camp Manager :

• Grade 12 is essential
• Tertiary education in Tourism / Hospitality is advantageous
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential
• Previous experience in a FOH / all-rounder position is essential
• Must have an extroverted personality and be able to hold a conversation
• Hosting skills are essential - you will be required to host guests at meal times
• Must have general administration skills and be computer literate
• High standards of service excellence and a passion for the industry

Maintenance :

• Previous experience in four-star safari lodge maintenance
• Industry qualifications are a big advantage!
• Sound electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge
• Must be strong in preventative maintenance
• Well-presented with great communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Ability to stand in for the lodge Maintenance Manager when needed
• Good team leadership and delegation skills
• Excellent vehicle maintenance skills
• Reliable, mature, and responsible
• Willing to assist wherever needed
• Skilled in road maintenance
• Driver's Licence is essential!
• Excellent contactable references
