The Good Human (Pty)Ltd in Waterberg, Limpopo is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our luxury lodge culinary team. You will prepare and present meals for breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner, ensuring impeccable quality and presentation in a high-end hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include menu planning, stock control, portion management, and collaboration with lodge management to elevate guest dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to prepare a variety of dishes to a high standard.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

What You'll Do

• Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and stock control to optimize resources.
• Manage portion control, reduce food wastage, and monitor ingredient usage.

• Collaborate closely with lodge management to ensure an outstanding guest dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a lodge, hotel, or similar hospitality environment.
• Ability to prepare a variety of dishes to a high standard.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining consistent food quality.
• Excellent teamwork and time management skills.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
