Job summary

A leading supplier to South Africa's top fashion retail chains is looking for a talented CAD Artist to join their team in Umhlanga. The role involves creating CAD drawings for various clothing products and working closely with Merchandisers and Quality Assurance teams. Ideal candidates will have a qualification in Fashion Design or similar, experience with Adobe Illustrator, and a keen eye for detail. This is a full-time position.

Exciting Opportunity! A leading supplier to South Africa's top fashion retail chains is seeking a talented CAD Artist to join their dynamic team based in Umhlanga.

Duties :

• Create CAD drawings for lingerie and other clothing products
• Produce clear specifications CADs for Quality Assurance
• Work closely with Merchandisers and QAs
• Tech Pack creation
• Take photos of garments and manage photo archives
• Update packaging booklets
• Research trends online and in-store to help develop new products
• Conduct trend research for Merchandisers' buying trips
• Assist with buyer briefings with the Merchandiser
• Check factory samples and lab dips against the brief

Requirements :

• Relevant qualification in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or CAD Design
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator
• Understanding of garment construction
• Trend follower
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
