About the Role:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Cable Bolt Operator to join our clients underground mining team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of cable bolts to provide ground support and ensure the stability of underground excavations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install cable bolts to engineering specifications using mechanized or manual equipment.

Operate bolting rigs and ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.

Conduct inspections and tension testing of installed cable bolts.

Read and interpret ground support plans and technical drawings.

Work closely with the ground control and engineering teams to identify high-risk ground areas.

Ensure compliance with mine safety procedures and report any hazards or irregularities.

Perform basic maintenance and pre-start checks on bolting equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Cable Bolt Operator in an underground mining environment.

Proven experience with mechanized cable bolting equipment.

Sound knowledge of ground support systems and underground mine safety standards.

Physically fit, reliable, and capable of working in demanding conditions.

Ability to work as part of a multicultural team.

Proficiency in English or French (both is a plus).
