JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administratively supporting all aspects of the buying process
  2. Ensuring timeous placement of orders onto the purchasing system
  3. Maintaining a control system for the sample room
  4. Compiling, balancing, and updating spreadsheets and reports
  5. Maintaining quality assurance control and audit of samples
  6. All preparations prior to presentations
  7. Completing all administrative documentation that is related to loading products into the TFG system
  8. Building constructive and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers
  9. Communicating with suppliers to gather all information required to load product
  10. Processing of all amendments and communicating changes to relevant parties
  11. Supporting the customer service team in resolving product and order queries and complaints and product sourcing and pricing queries
  12. Managing orders through the critical path process
  13. Pulling of weekly reports on incoming stock and liaising with suppliers for keep samples
  14. Managing sample process between retail and production
  15. Prepping of product and documents for quarterly SWOT's
  16. Able to do a Comp Shop on their own
  17. Pulling samples / images for weekly sales reports or product meetings as requested by the buyer
  18. Assisting Buyers with order placements
  19. Maintaining the retail sample room
  20. Assist with coordination of QA samples.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Matric, Higher Certificate or Diploma
  2. Buying Admin experience
  3. Understanding of the clothing retail Cycle and Buying Process
