Job summary

A leading retail company in Bellville, Western Cape is seeking a Buyer's Assistant with at least 5 years of experience in a retail or buying environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and numerical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite is essential. Responsibilities include managing sample critical paths and understanding the retail buying process. This role is suited for someone who can work under pressure and is customer service oriented.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 5 years of experience in an Administrative or Buyer’s Assistant role within a retail or buying environment.
  • Experience with Airtable / Ukusa is advantageous.

  • A relevant qualification in Retail, Administration, Fashion Design, Clothing Production, Product Development, Merchandising, or a related field is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Preferably 5 years of experience in an Administrative or Buyer’s Assistant role within a retail or buying environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is essential.
  • Grade 12 Certificate / Matric is required.
  • Experience with Airtable / Ukusa is advantageous.
