Support Services Coordinator
As a Support Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our support functions.
Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and optimizing various support services to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of support service staff, including buying specialists and administrative staff. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure a high-performing team.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and streamline support service processes, including internal inquiries, warranty claims, and parts requests. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret data gathered from Syspro and other sources. Develop innovative systems and metrics to measure the effectiveness of support services.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently to meet manufacturing demands while optimizing costs. Ensure adequate staffing levels, equipment, and supplies to support service operations.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that support services meet the highest standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify issues.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement in support services.
- Compliance: Ensure that support operations comply with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in a purchasing or buying role.
- Experience in a support services office.
- Proven experience in a team leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry.
