BUYER/ADMINISTRATOR
Industry: Promotional Products / Branding Solutions
Location: Kew, Johannesburg
Gross Salary: R15 000, 00 – R18000, 00
Starting date: ASAP
Type: Permanent
Role Purpose
To manage the procurement and purchasing processes for branded merchandise and promotional items, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with client specifications

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management
oSource promotional products from local and international suppliers
oNegotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms
oMaintain strong relationships with preferred vendors
Order Processing & Inventory
oCreate and track purchase orders using ERP systems
oMonitor stock levels and replenish inventory based on demand forecasts
oCoordinate with warehouses to ensure accurate stock movement and delivery
Administrative Support
oCapture invoices and reconcile purchase orders
oMaintain accurate records of discontinued items and supplier communications
oAssist with GRN (Goods Received Notes) and credit note retrieval
oReporting & Coordination
oRun daily, fortnightly, and monthly stock reports
oUpdate out-of-stock lines and ensure correct pack sizes
oLiaise with finance and sales teams to resolve queries and support client orders
Skills & Competencies
Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Familiarity with promotional product cycles and branding logistics
Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
Qualifications & Experience
