Job description

• Effectively conduct procurement activities (such as requests for quotes, proposals, or supplier negotiations) to secure supply in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that conducting procurement activities is executed at the lowest total cost and minimal or no risk to the business.
• Manage a portfolio of spend commodities assigned to you.
• Become a Purchasing representative of a number of departments within the organisation.
• Create and process orders on the Maximo system, based on purchase requisitions received from the business.
• Create and release monthly-contracted-services orders.
• Ensure best value for money is obtained in conjunction with the achievement of BBBEE objectives.
