We’re offering a unique opportunity for an experienced and driven Jewellery & Precious Metals Buyer to join a high-performing, client-focused team. You will be responsible for evaluating and acquiring second-hand jewellery, gold, Krugerrands, and other precious items directly from individuals. Using a robust lead generation system and digital communication tools, you will connect with prospective clients, build trust, and guide them through a seamless and rewarding selling experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally assess and purchase second-hand jewellery, Krugerrands, gold, and other valuable items from private sellers
• Build meaningful client relationships through phone, WhatsApp, and in-person engagements
• Guide clients through the entire transaction process with care, clarity, and confidence
• Negotiate purchase terms that deliver value for clients while supporting business profitability
• Qualify and manage leads, scheduling appointments and conducting valuations
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions via CRM systems
• Respond to client enquiries and concerns with professionalism and transparency
• Oversee all transactional documentation, payment processes, and post-sale follow-ups
• Consistently meet and exceed acquisition and relationship development targets

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in jewellery appraisal, purchasing, or luxury goods sales
• Strong understanding of the second-hand market for jewellery, gold, and Krugerrands
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-first mindset
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Technically proficient with CRM systems and digital tools
• Professional in appearance and conduct, with the ability to inspire trust
• Collaborative and committed to contributing to team success
• Based in Johannesburg or available to work in the Sandton area
