About the Role : We are a confectionery company founded over 20 years ago.

Our plant has been in operation for 16 years and is based in Walkerville.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual capable of working in a fast-growing environment in an organized, intelligent way.

The Local Procurement Specialist will lead sourcing activities for the country across all categories in close collaboration with the Region Procurement Manager.

Main Responsibilities :

1. Perform local communication on new contracts
2. Lead and execute sourcing activities for all procurement categories according to group guidelines
3. Analyze and monitor market trends, supplier concentrations, and potential innovations
4. Identify sourcing opportunities and evaluate potential internal requests and synergies
5. Lead negotiations with suppliers to maximize value in terms of TCO (total cost of ownership), service, and quality (SLA / KPI)
6. Define supplier segmentation model and framework to establish relationship types with key suppliers
7. Build and maintain supplier relationships that generate value for Ferrero and suppliers over time
8. Ensure alignment with internal customer requirements and demand
9. Manage administration activities, ensuring service level and process / policy compliance
10. Manage emerging issues, identify areas for improvement, and validate process and IT system enhancements
11. Create and approve purchase order documents according to defined procedures and thresholds
12. Support local admin specialists in case of mismatches between orders and invoices and approve PO documents

Who we are looking for :

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Science, or similar
• 2-6 years of experience in procurement
• Successful track record and potential for development
• Experience in a cross-cultural environment within a matrix organization preferred
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with SAP / SAP Ariba is a plus
• Proficiency in English
• Mastery of procurement techniques: negotiating skills, RFI, RFQ, budgeting, market analysis, risk management, price management
• Knowledge of direct and indirect categories
• Analytical mindset and strong reporting skills
• Ethical and strong personal values
• Enthusiasm, passion, and commitment to excellence with a results-oriented approach
