The Butchery Production Controller will be responsible for overseeing daily production, managing production processes, utilizing butchery equipment, ensuring orders are completed, and addressing day-to-day production employee issues. The role includes meeting daily production targets such as meat carcass breaking, bandsaw cutting, quality inspections, and the use of meat grinders, knives, and other tools to cut meat into smaller portions, as well as weighing, pricing, and dispatching orders. The successful candidate will train and monitor the production team on equipment use to ensure proper operation. Additionally, you will communicate with store personnel to understand their needs, advise on proper cuts of meat and preparation methods, and coordinate pickups or deliveries.
