1. Grade 12
2. Experience as a Butchery Manager or 2-3 years in a supervisory role in a retail or Butchery environment.
3. Extensive knowledge of meat cuts, food safety, and butchery techniques
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
5. Excellent customer service with a passion for delivering the highest-quality products
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage inventory and reduce waste

1. Lead & Manage the Butchery Department: Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory control, ordering, and ensuring top-quality cuts are available for our customers.
2. Maintain High Standards of Hygiene & Safety: Ensure all meat handling, storage, and display practices meet the food safety regulations and company standards.
3. Enhance Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, offering expert advice and custom cuts that meet specific customer needs.
4. Drive Sales & Profits: Develop strategies to boost sales, reduce waste, and maximise profitability within the butchery department.
5. Lead & Train a High-Performing Team: Manage, train, and mentor butchery staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated to provide excellent service.

1. Ability to cut, pack, manufacture and merchandise all butchery products
2. Ability to operate all the butchery equipment
