Job description

Do the words “climate change” send shivers down your spine? If you answered YES, then it’s time to send in your CV. A leading environmental, social and governance (ESG) advisor to Business, Investors, and Financial Institutions is looking for a Climate Risk enthusiast to lead their Business Unit.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s) in a discipline relevant to climate change e.g., environmental science, environmental management, geography, development studies, air quality.
  • 10+ years’ experience in climate change or similar discipline.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a management or senior technical role.
  • Demonstrable experience developing technical and financial proposals for climate change assignments.
  • Technical and project management experience in at least three of the following areas:
  1. Climate finance
  2. Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) due diligence
  3. Climate change impact assessment
  4. Greenhouse gas inventories / carbon footprint assessments aligned with relevant international standards
