Job summary

99 Cents is seeking a senior leader to oversee a significant portfolio, drive client relationships, and steer strategic direction at the group level. You will champion problem resolution, ensure governance across accounts, and mentor a high-performing leadership team to deliver high-volume retail programmes with rigorous quality control.

Responsibilities

• Hold full responsibility for your business unit across a substantial multi-account, multi-team portfolio.
• Manage senior client relationships across the group for portfolio health, retention and growth.
• Lead problem resolution and escalations at senior level, championing the client while protecting agency interests.
• Ensure the unit delivers a high-volume retail programme reliably with disciplined briefing, workflow and quality control at scale.
• Safeguard accuracy, brand CI consistency and regulatory compliance across all output.
• Take accountability for sound financial governance across accounts, including retainer management, cost estimates, billing and job profitability.
• Lead and develop Group Account Directors and senior talent, building a high-performing, accountable leadership team.
• Give strategic insights and direction into the categories you are responsible for and represent 99c at senior external levels.

• Ensure the unit delivers a high-volume retail programme reliably and to standard, with disciplined briefing, workflow and quality control at scale
• Safeguard accuracy, brand CI consistency and regulatory compliance across all output
• Take accountability for sound financial governance across accounts, including retainer management, cost estimates, billing and job profitability
• Lead and develop Group Account Directors and senior talent, building a high-performing, accountable leadership team
• Give strategic insights and direction into the categories you are responsible for
• Able to work under pressure and step in when the team needs hands on assistance
• Contribute to agency strategy as part of the senior leadership team, and represent 99c at the most senior external levels
