The purpose of this role is to manage Capita's Business Resilience Programmes and oversee the implementation and delivery of policies and standards. This includes supporting and maintaining standards, tooling, resilience SharePoint, and delivering a programme of work covering remediation activities and continuous improvement.

Role: Business Resilience Manager

Role Objective: To lead a Resilience Team and implement policies and standards related to business resilience, supporting standards, tooling, SharePoint, and a programme of work focused on remediation and continuous improvement.

Professional Know-how

Academic:

  • Matric (Completed)
  • ISO 22301 Lead Implementor/Auditor accreditation

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Business Continuity or Crisis Management roles
  • Programme delivery experience
  • Experience leading small teams (3+ members)
  • Experience managing resilience portfolios
Working Relationships

Internal:

  • Internal Stakeholders
  • Business lines and functions

External:

  • Stakeholders and Business ownerships
Primary Responsibilities
  • Support senior leadership in implementing group policies and standards
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and support Heads of Resilience
  • Deliver the Group Business Resilience Programme of Work, including continuous improvement, remediation, and resilience initiatives
  • Lead supplier resilience management
  • Provide reports to risk committees and senior management
  • Act as primary contact for support and advice on standards and ISO 22301
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues
  • Develop standards, tooling, and programmes of work
  • Manage and develop team members
  • Support Major Incident and Crisis Management activities
Additional Responsibilities
  • Implement partner functions and processes
  • Design and execute 1LOD activities
  • Partner with businesses to identify and manage resilience risks
  • Support incident and crisis management, including out-of-hours support
  • Support bids and acquisitions with resilience expertise
  • Oversee third-party vendor resilience
  • Share intelligence on threats and opportunities
  • Manage resources and succession planning within the team
