Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to employ a Business Representative to join their team.

Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate (NQF Level 5) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Representative or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP, ERP systems, Salesforce, and other relevant software.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Administration (45%)
- Canvass and open new customer accounts based on viability.
- Monitor monthly sales per customer and evaluate performance against targets.
- Extract daily sales data from SAP for analysis and action planning.
- Provide monthly feedback to management regarding customer-related activities.
- Introduce new marketing and promotional strategies aligned with company goals.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff for efficient route planning.
- Organise and host trade evenings and promotional events.
- Monitor and grow customer base and market share through promotional initiatives.
- Assist in the credit application process and manage outstanding accounts in partnership with debtors.
- Ensure outstanding debtor days are below 45 at all times.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment according to policy.
- Participate in monthly performance review meetings with management.
Stock Control (15%)
- Work closely with the warehouse to ensure stock availability and resolve queries.
- Support consignment stock processes.
- Monitor customer buying patterns for accurate stock forecasting.
- Oversee stock rotation and replenishment.
- Assist customers in managing stock levels and composition.
Compliance (10%)
- Operate within internal controls to maintain compliance and integrity.
- Report risks and concerns within the operational area.
- Ensure adherence to regulations to avoid wasteful expenditure.
Customer Service (20%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Resolve customer queries promptly in collaboration with other departments.
- Provide ongoing product and pricing training to customers.
- Support the customer liaison team by keeping customer information up to date.
- Offer training on product handling, POS materials, and procedures.
Cost Control (10%)
- Promote responsible use of financial and physical resources.
- Monitor pricing structures and gross profit margins daily.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain profitability.
- Reduce unnecessary expenses and adhere to budgetary limits.
