Business Representative – Blackheath, Cape Town – R18 500 CTC

Position Overview:

An automotive manufacturer and distributor company is seeking a Business Representative to support Sales and Marketing functions, including Sales, Administration, Stock Control, Compliance, and Customer Service. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role aims to achieve departmental targets through excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open new customer accounts based on viability.
  • Monitor monthly sales and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate marketing strategies and promotional activities.
  • Manage credit applications and debt collection processes.
  • Ensure company assets are maintained according to policy.
  • Liaise with Warehouse for stock availability.
  • Monitor buying patterns and forecast stock needs.
  • Manage stock rotations and replenishments.
  • Operate within established controls and procedures.
  • Report risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Resolve customer queries and issues promptly.
  • Provide training and updates on products and services.
  • Support efficient use of financial resources.
  • Monitor pricing structures and gross profit.
  • Optimize company resources and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate (NQF 5) minimum requirement.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and ERP systems.
  • Proactive, problem-solving, customer-focused, with strong communication skills.
