To strategically and operationally manage and grow a portfolio of high revenue-generating clients. Responsibilities include key relationship management, seeking and exploiting business opportunities for the bank, and expanding the portfolio through new client acquisition. Success will be measured by client satisfaction, financial performance, sound governance, and new client acquisition.

Are You Someone Who Can

  • The portfolio has a 20% Agric / 80% Business split.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high revenue clients, including key relationship management, seeking business opportunities, and acquiring new clients. Success measured through client satisfaction, financial performance, governance, and new client acquisition.
  • Enhance business performance and profitability.
  • Drive customer service delivery in line with standards and operational objectives.
  • Grow the customer base by managing existing clients, generating leads, and increasing active accounts.
  • Set tactical goals and optimize resources to achieve them.
  • Define sales strategies and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Assess and evaluate credit applications per the bank's Credit Policy within set timeframes.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements and relevant processes.
  • Manage people by executing line manager responsibilities and fostering an environment of growth and performance excellence.

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You

  • Are FAIS compliant (RE5).
  • Hold a relevant business degree (financial).
  • Have 2–4 years of credit experience and 3–5 years of relationship management and product knowledge.
  • Possess an agricultural qualification or experience.
  • Are not an unrehabilitated insolvent.
  • Under the National Credit Act, candidates will require a credit record check.
