Job Description

To strategically and operationally manage and grow a portfolio of high revenue-generating clients. Responsibilities include key relationship management, seeking and exploiting business opportunities for the bank, and expanding the portfolio through new client acquisition. Success will be measured by client satisfaction, financial performance, sound governance, and new client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high revenue clients, including key relationship management and business development.
  • Enhance business performance and profitability.
  • Drive customer service delivery in line with standards and operational objectives.
  • Grow the customer base by managing existing clients, generating leads, and increasing active accounts.
  • Set tactical goals and optimize resources to achieve them.
  • Define sales strategies and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Assess and evaluate credit applications per the bank's credit policy within set timeframes.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements.
  • Manage team performance and foster an environment of growth and excellence.
Ideal Candidate:
  • FAIS compliant (RE5)
  • Relevant business degree (Financial)
  • 2-4 years credit experience and 3-5 years relationship management and product knowledge
  • Experience or qualification in agriculture
  • Not an unrehabilitated insolvent
  • Credit record check required under the NCA
