Job Description

To design, develop, and enhance processes within the business to ensure resource and operational alignment with business strategies. The goal is to ensure business value through the optimal integration of policies, processes, people, and technology. This involves proactively analyzing, researching, designing, and implementing efficient and effective business process solutions to achieve our business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying and implementing process improvements to contain and reduce costs and enhance customer experience.
  2. Providing input into the development of the business area's tactical strategy to achieve the overall business strategy.
  3. Developing and implementing operational plans to meet business objectives.
  4. Applying project planning and process engineering methodologies to analyze process efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Documenting, operationally improving, signing off, and publishing baseline processes and standard operating procedures.
  6. Designing or redesigning processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, focusing on quality, cost, risk, innovation, and customer experience.
  7. Investigating and developing opportunities into comprehensive business cases emphasizing efficiency gains, cost savings, and improved quality or customer experience.
  8. Building collaborative relationships across teams to enhance work delivery and innovation.
  9. Ensuring compliance with systems and procedures, reviewing audit findings and implementing necessary changes.
  10. Aligning services and solutions with business strategies and talent development needs.
  11. Measuring process changes to ensure accuracy in cost calculations and turnaround times, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  12. Developing insights and applying innovative solutions for organizational improvements.
  13. Performing Root Cause Analysis for process breakdowns and developing countermeasures.
  14. Extracting and analyzing data to inform business decisions and create value-added knowledge.
  15. Identifying key metrics post-implementation and reporting results.
  16. Encouraging and nurturing collaborative relationships within the team.
Education and Experience
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Tertiary Qualification in Computer, Engineering, or Information Technology (Degree and Postgraduate)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
  • Financial background experience is advantageous
