Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee the operations of our liquor store in Thaba Nchu. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams, strong labor relations expertise, and the ability to drive business growth while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Operational Management

  • Ensure the store operates efficiently and meets sales and profit targets.
  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control to minimize shrinkage.

2. People Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and identifying training needs.
  • Manage work schedules and allocate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • 3. Labor Relations

  • Handle all labor-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Build a positive working relationship with staff and ensure a harmonious work environment.
  • 4. Financial Management

  • Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance.
