Business Manager (FMCG) – Bloemfontein (AA/EE Position)

Qualifications:
Grade 12 + B.Com Degree
3-5 Years Key Account Management/Sales/Marketing Experience in a Technical Sales Environment
Fully computer literate
Strong knowledge of Distribution/Logistics Methodologies
Valid driver’s license – (Able to travel)

Purpose:
Manage a portfolio of clients allocated, implement action plans & objectives ensuring that revenue, volume, profitability & customer service objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate & lead in the development process of identified opportunities & ensure that each client is supported at the specific standard
  2. New business development
  3. Identify new business opportunities in all market sectors
  4. Lead & participate in new business projects
  5. Assist with rate negotiations
  6. Coordinating in conjunction with the Hire Stock Audit team & CCT
  7. Systems control audits
  8. Servicing clients in current portfolio & grow business within the region
  9. Customer relations management
  10. Adherence to Business Rules & Best Practices
  11. National Coordination of Group Accounts
  12. Value Adding Services, Portfolio, EDI, RFID
  13. Customer satisfaction
  14. Revenue management
  15. CRM
